This section provides a brief update of the Elder Amberites and their current situation in Amber.
The smaller trump images can be enlarged by clicking on them.
Benedict
Willing to come to Amber's aid when war threatened, Benedict was quick to fade back into the Shadows once the need was no longer so great. One gets the
sense that he bears Amber no ill will, he simply no longer find her lifestyle particularly interesting. It is known that he is currented married to a
Shadow woman named Pheobe and has presented a child, Ronan, to court.
Bleys
Only lightly tortured at the hands of the Oleai, Bleys otherwise survived the conflicts unscathed and continues to serve
Amber as her Ambassador to the Golden Circle. Charming and confident, Bleys is the brother you always wanted, the friend you can depend on and the
smiling face that leaves you wondering how that dagger managed to get into your back.
Brand
Despite occasional fears of his rebirth in the form of Erin, Brand shows every intention of remaining quite dead.
Caine
Fallen in the conflict with the Bright Pattern, it was Caine who finally slew Osric and brought victory to Amber. He is remembered and honored for his
sacrifice.
Corwin
Corwin has not been seen since slightly after the Patternfall war and remains missing to this day. Rumors are many, but focus on his Pattern and the
mysteries it may contain.
Delwin
While not begrudging those of the Oleai who have chosen to make peace with Amber and live in the Shadows, Delwin remains with those who choose to
continue their nomadic ways.
Dierdre
Returning in vision and spirit to guard the daughter of her spiritual flesh Rhyss, Dierdre has not been seen in any form since Rhyss returned to Shadow.
Dworkin
Sighted from time to time after the conflicts, Dworkin continues to confuse and amaze.
Eric
Dead in the Patternfall wars, Eric has thus far chosen to remain deceased.
Fiona
Fiona has withdrawn somewhat from Amber since the Oleia war, spending more time in Shadow and in pursuit of her private researches. She still
makes an appearance at the more important family gatherings, but casual trump calls are frowned on.
Flora
Happy that both her children ended the conflict...relatively...undamaged, Flora splits her time between Amber and her personal Shadow Earth where
she manages imports for Amber that require a more industrial base. When she is in the city, rest assured she has taken charge of the royal social calendar.
Gerard
With Caine's death Gerard moved from his former position of Amber's Steward to Admiral of the Fleet. Other than that little has changed and he is, as
always, an island of sincerity in the maelstrom that is Amber politics.
Julian
Julian and his Huntsmen proved their continued worth in the Oleai war and he has since returned to the Arden this is his first love and responsibility.
Llewella
Llewella proved her mettle in the Oleia wars and while she may be moist, it is whomever is on the other end of her Pattern blade that is going to be sad.
Sharp tongued, social connected and beholden to no one, Llewella continues her rise in political power and presence. Her fling with Maladin continues and
ebbs and waxes depending on mood and circumstance, while both have independent lives there is a passion that seems to always reunite them.
Random
The years have shown Random to be a surprisingly competent king. While he may never have the majesty and presence that Oberon held, he has a knack
for politics and an organizational savy that may prove to be more effective in the long run. Most impressively, he has managed to keep the family
united and at peace with each other for over a century.
Sand
Slain by Benedict during the first Oleai wars, Sand remains remembered by few other than her brother and son Maladin.
Vialle
Queen of Amber and still beloved of the people, Vialle has seemed somehow lesser since the Oleai wars. The depth and almost mystic presence she
once commanded somehow faded into courtly manners and almost scripted platitudes. While they are still the royal couple united in public, they each have
seperate chambers and it is said that rarely is the door between opened.
