Dtps Queen Beer
(Hybrid) - Many vibrantly pink flowers with an upright habit.
Kingiella philippinense
(Species) - Moved from Phalaenopsis to it's own species, this little guy has tiny little white flowers. Fussier
grower than a normal Phal.
Phalaenopsis equestris
(Species) - A minerature often used in crosses because of it's multi-branching tendancy.
Equestris flowers can vary from near white to a dark almost solid pink just inside
the species; this one is a pale lavender. Keep an eye on these, easy to grow but they
will bloom themselves almost to death given a chance.
Phalaenopsis luedemanniana - var "Deltonii"
(Species) - Waxy pink flowers with red barring and a nice scent. This plant will produce keikeis
at the drop of a hat. Mine is happy and has created many babies, no actual flowers, but many
babies.
Phalaenopsis violacia - var coerulea
(Species) - Looks much like the standard violacia, but the lip and base petals are
more purple and the pink color stronger. Scent seems unaffected.
Phalaenopsis Mahalo "Carmela Orchids" FCC/AOS, BM/11WOC
(Penang x Malibu Heir) - Heavy substance with glossy solid bright red flowers, the even and
complete coverage of the color is amazing. Faintly scented, sort of a classical floral.
Phalaenopsis Mok Choi Yew
(gigantea x violacea) - Slow grower I got as a seedling. Don't know what this cross will look
like, but both parents are scented so it should smell good at the very least.
Phalaenopsis Name Unknown
(Phalaenopsis Hybrid) - Another bargin on the sale table, really unusual bright orange flowers with
red markings, seems to have some cornu-cervi but the other parent is anyone's guess; mabey fasciata?.
Phalaenopsis Name Unknown
(Phalaenopsis Hybrid) - Rescued this guy from a mom&pop plant shop, it was on the verge of death but came back like a
trooper. Beautiful classic moth orchid look but with an almost Vanda like pale lavender that turns pink under
some lighting, really large flowers.
Phalaenopsis Name Unknown
(Big Peoker x Hour Jin Diamond) - One of the new speckled variety. Heavy substance and creates a lot of nectar with no scent,
but the flowers last forever.
Phalaenopsis Artemis
(amabilis x equestris) - A cross of two popular species, this gives the larger whiter flowers of the amabilis, but with the
massive branching blooms of the equestris.
